art competition from nature
detectives, open to children,
schools and groups in the UK.

 

Get creative

Explore your local wood, park, school grounds or the beach - look for natural materials to make your masterpiece.

Think about:

  • colours
  • textures
  • shapes
  • materials
  • the changing seasons
  • how the weather might enhance your art

Download a free ideas pack, full of photographs of different types of outdoor art - patterns, sculptures, mobiles, figures, structures...

Then think about how you can make yours unique.

How to enter

You'll need to upload a photograph or video clip of your masterpiece to Flickr to enter the competition.

Closing date

The competition closes at midnight on November 18th 2011

This gives you lots of time, as well as changing seasons, to create a work of art.

(Don't leave it until the last minute, like lots of people last year, or you'll risk being too late!)
