Plant your tree for the Jubilee
2012 is an excellent time for families and schools to get involved in a once in a lifetime project and get your name in the history books!
February 2012 marks the 60th anniversary of
Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne.
The Woodland Trust’s ‘Jubilee Woods’ project is
inviting you, your family and friends across the UK
to join together in planting one million trees for the
Diamond Jubilee in February 2012, as a wonderful
start to the Jubilee year, during which we plan to
plant 6 million trees.
Be one in a million
Many schools, scouts and guide groups have
received a free tree pack to plant this February but
you can get involved at home too!
All you need to do is plant a tree in your garden or
attend one of our tree planting events.
There is loads of advice on the Jubilee Woods
website, so go on and have a look and make sure
that you and your family are one in a million this February.
