The Flying Fox

By Andrew, 11

Once upon a time there
was a fox, that fox was
called Ben.

Ben had an amazing talent
including his ability to fly.

Though he never had wings somehow
he could hover in mid air for quite along time.

Blessed by fairies

The legend says that when he was born, a fairy sprinkled fairy dust all other him giving him invisible wings that could only be felt by the air when he flew.

One day other fox gangs raided his den stealing of all his possessions including a jar of fairy dust.

When Ben woke up he immediately noticed this and went out to try and find the gang that stole his fairy dust.

Long journey

He set out on a long journey to find his legendry fairy dust.

If another fox sprinkled his fairy dust other them he would never be unique again!

He flew for days and days but he never found his fairy dust.

To this day the legend says that the ghost of Ben still is flying and will not stop until he has found his fairy dust, then his soul can be put to rest.
