Challenges

Freshly baked every Friday morning

get challenges emailed to you every single week     There are over 350 things to do during a
year in the nature detectives CLUB, so we
split them up into weekly challenges.

Every week, Danielle and Bev will set you a
challenge and send you an email about it on
Friday afternoon, in time for the weekend.

Something to do all year round

Challenges can be anything from going on a welly wander or treasure hunt to making a bird feeder or identification dial. They're made fresh so that we can tailor them to the seasons and the weather. So you won't get a challenge about finding ladybirds in March if no-one has seen any yet!

Often there'll be an exclusive competition tied to a challenge too, so you have the chance to win a prize or get your work published. We'll tell you about these in the challenge and remind you for the next few weeks before the deadline.

Flexible

Because the CLUB has members aged from 3 to 13, the challenges are designed to be flexible. There's always a choice of things to do, so you there should be something that takes your fancy (you don't have to do everything!)

Time-saver

A fresh challenge is delivered straight to your inbox every Friday afternoon, in time for the weekend, so you don't spend lots of time rooting through the website looking for ideas and things to do.

Active

We believe this is the best national kids' club out there. Our unique offering of weekly challenges aim to get kids active outside, making things and thinking for themselves - much better than sitting reading a quarterly magazine!
