We hope that 2012 will be an exciting year
for you - full of fun and adventures :O)

This week we want you to think about the
nice things you could do for wildlife to make
the winter a little bit easier for them.

 

This week your challenge is to: Do a kind deed for wildlife :O)
 

     

Serve a leftover lunch

Do you still have mince pies or cake left over from Christmas? Take your pick from our leftover lunch menu to give the hungry birds a treat :O)

Make a recycled bird feeder 

Use your empty milk and juice cartons to make a bird feeder.

Make a hotel for bugs

Collect lots of hollow stems, leaves and pine cones and put them inside an empty plastic bottle (and leave the cap off).

Leave it under a bush or hanging from a tree and you'll soon find that insects will love staying there :O)

These brilliant bug hotels were made by Kents Hill School Gardening Club.
